Sarah Garsombke - Birth Doula, Lactation Specialist
Sarah stepped into her role as birth doula in the year following the birth of her first baby, whose birth inspired her passion for supporting other families through pregnancy and birth. During her own pregnancy, she immersed herself in learning about the birth process, and ultimately had her baby at Authentic Birth Center. This experienced opened her eyes to this new calling of becoming a doula.
Sarah is certified as a doula through A Woman Who Serves, and holds a lactation counselor certification as well. She can't wait to walk alongside women as they pursue their goals--whatever that may look like for them.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time outside with her family and dog Luna, baking, or crocheting.

Cassie Ley - Childbirth Educator, Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula
Cassie's interest in birth began even before her own birth experiences, and she long believed she would one day become a birth doula in God's timing. Having supported women before birth through childbirth education and after birth as a postpartum doula, she is delighted that the time has now come to serve women during birth.
Through the homebirth experiences of her two daugthers, she gained an understanding of how deeply transformative birth can be, and how its effects stretch beyond the birth-day. Her desire is for women to feel supported, for the birth to be an empowering experience, and for moms to trust themselves.
Outside of being a "birth nerd," Cassie enjoys making healthy food taste good, practicing pilates, and spending her days with her daughters.
