Service Description
For clients receiving care with a hospital provider, sometimes some extra TLC is needed. This is an opportunity for expecting parents to ask questions, seek out alternative options, and overall just get some more support from a home birth midwife’s perspective. Ultimately this is not medical advice, however it gives you an opportunity to explore the current care you are receiving and how it compares to a more holistic approach. This service is virtual and can be as short as 30min or as long as 2 hours per visit.
Cancellation Policy
Free consultations do not require any special advance notice (Home Birth Consult, Doula Consult). Formal documents pertaining to Home Birth Midwife Care and Birth Doula Support are emailed to clients after the free consultation is completed. Schedule Midwife Consults no less than 3 days in advance. Due to the nature of midwifery, consults may need to be rescheduled due to births. As much advance notice as possible will be given. Client cancellations: -Consults cancelled 24 hours or more prior to appointment will be refunded fully. -Consults cancelled same-day will receive 50% discount. -Clients may receive one opportunity to reschedule free of charge, however any additional rescheduling may incur an additional fee. -Clients who do not show will not receive any refund.
